The Research Division

The Research Division of The Infant-Parent Institute-as well as our affiliate non-profit foundation, Collaborative Solutions, Inc.-includes thinkers from clinical, developmental and experimental psychology, social work, criminal justice and related fields, all eager to turn their attention to significant new issues in children's mental health, women's health, treatment outcome and program evaluation.

The Research Division has been principally occupied, in recent years, fulfilling a contract with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS) to advise the Department regarding the certification of - as well as to provide certification assistance, monitoring and technical assistance to - child welfare and mental health service providers who participate in the Medicaid Community Mental Health Services ("Medicaid") Program in Illinois. (For further detail on the implementation of Medicaid, click here.)
